NEW! Membership Referral Program

Midwest ACE is excited to roll out a new incentive program! As a member in good standing, if you refer a brand new individual MWACE member outside your organization, you will be eligible to receive a $150.00 credit off the next upcoming Annual Conference Registration fee! If you refer a new GROUP membership (outside your organization) to join MWACE, you (or your institution) will receive one full complimentary Annual Conference Registration ($499.00 value)!

The process is simple! 

1. Refer a new individual or group to join MWACE. They will complete the new membership application and list you as the referral. 
2. You get the credit!

Terms:

1. Only one referral per membership year per individual member is eligible for the award.
2. The referral needs to be for an individual(s) outside of your institution, organization and or related satellite locations.
3. The funds for the new member invoice must be received prior to the credit being applied.
4. Conference credit must be used in the year in which the membership was created and cannot be applied to future events or conferences.

Benefits of Membership

Individual Membership Options:

• Individual Employer Membership –  (Annual dues: $175.00)
  Recruitment/staffing professionals directly engaged in college recruitment for their own organizations.

• Individual College Membership – (Annual dues: $175.00)
  College Members provide career services to students and alumni of accredited colleges and universities in the Midwest.

Group Membership Option:

• Group Membership
  

  The dues structure for the 2024/2025 membership year will be as follows: 

  2024/25 Membership Dues:

  Groups, 5 - 9 members: $800.00 / group
  Groups, 10 - 15 members: $1,400.00 / group
  Groups, 16+ members: $2,000.00 / group

Group Membership Parameters: Group memberships are determined by budget or department parameters. For instance, the College of Business career center and the College of Liberal Arts career center may each maintain their own membership tier. Each has a key contact who identifies the benefit recipients and handles the renewal.

Instructions on Updating Group Members:

Please note, only the designated key contacts for your organization will have access to these features. If you need to add / update your key contacts, email [email protected]. 

Step 1 - Navigate to My Account (ensure you are logged in)
Step 2 - Click "My profile" in the sub-menu and select "My Organization"
Step 3 - You may edit your organization or individual profiles ("Org Members") in this section
Step 4 - To add members, click "Create Linked Profile"

Step 5 - To remove members, click the green "unlink" button next to their name. If you are removing members, please also email those names to [email protected] for permanent removal from the database.

Affiliate Member:

• Individual Memberships only – (Annual dues: $175.00)
  

  Affiliate members provide career services to professionals in the employer and/or college sectors.

Student/Transitional Member:

• Individual Memberships only – (Annual dues: $30.00)
  The Student/ Transitional membership type applies to individuals who are currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college/university or in transition for careers in recruitment/staffing or career services.

Startup and Standout Individual Employer Membership:

• Individual Employer Members – (First-Year dues: $30.00)
  The Startup and Standout with Midwest ACE program is an entry point into the association for professionals who meet specific criteria in the areas of employer size and geographic location. Learn more about the Startup and Standout Membership option for employers here

*This membership type is not available to those who would qualify for membership under another category, i.e. members working full time in career services but also working on a graduate/doctorate degree.
